Fe for a Cure

The Fe for a Cure 5K Race/Walk is a fun way to support cancer awareness and raise funds for patients receiving treatment at the Tammy Walker Cancer Center. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, 100% of your entry fee directly supports cancer patients through services and equipment needs at the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.

We are proud to say the Fe for a Cure 5K Race/Walk is USATF-certified, and is one of only two certified races held in Salina, KS.

New!

Based on last year’s post-survey results, we will now offer a 1-mile fun run for the first time, as well as an earlier start time at 8:00am. The 1-mile fun run will take place on historic Santa Fe Avenue making it a great place for walkers, beginner runners, and kids of all ages and their parents. The Fe for a Cure 5K Race/Walk will now truly be a family race – an event for everyone in the family!

7:15 a.m., Survivor Recognition
7:45 a.m., Race Announcements and Survivor’s Welcome 
8:00 a.m., 5K Race Begins 
8:10 a.m., 1-Mile Race Begins
