Fe for a Cure

The Fe for a Cure Race/Walk is a fun and family friendly way to support cancer awareness and raise funds for patients receiving treatment at the Tammy Walker Cancer Center. In addition to a USATF-Certified 5K race, a new 1-mile fun run was added in 2024. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, 100% of your entry fee directly supports cancer patients through services and equipment needs at the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.

We are proud to say the Fe for a Cure Race/Walk is USATF-certified, and is one of only two certified races held in Salina, KS.

Fe for a Cure is truly a family race – an event for everyone in the family!

Run Salina Series

Fe for a Cure is partnering with the Run Salina Series. The Run Salina Series is a collaboration of area organizations to encourage the community to participate in running/walking events. Participants who complete at least 5 of the 7 events will receive an exclusive Run Salina Series shirt. There is no charge to participate in the Run Salina Series.

Love, Chloe Fun Run – April 26th
Smoky Hill River Run – June 14th
Run for the Hills – August 9th
CKF Family Fun Run – September 6th
Fe for a Cure Race/Walk – September 20th
Salina Crossroads Marathon – November 8th
Frosty Fun Run – November 22nd

6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m., Onsite registration and packet pick-up at Tammy Walker Cancer Center 
7:15 a.m., Survivor Recognition
7:45 a.m., Race Announcements and Survivor’s Welcome 
8:00 a.m., 5K Race Begins 
8:10 a.m., 1-Mile Race Begins
